How do I create a Smart Transfer recipient?

You can create one through the Move Money flow or add Smart Transfer details directly to an existing recipient from your address book.
A. Move Money flow
Go to Move Money > Send.

Add recipient.

Enter the recipient’s details and click Next.

In the destination details next page, select the transaction method and fill in the corresponding banking details and click Next.

Click the x on the next page, go to the Address Book, and look for the newly created recipient.


Under the bank details section (e.g., ACH Details), select Smart Transfer (or View details → Smart Transfer).

Copy the Smart Transfer crypto deposit address for the token/network you want.

Send crypto to that address from any external wallet/exchange, funds will auto-deposit to the linked bank account.
B. Directly from address book
Open your Address Book
Go to Address Book, then select the recipient you want to update.

Add a new payment method
In the recipient’s profile, scroll to the Bank details section and click the ➕ (plus) icon next to the payment method you want to add (for example, ACH, SEPA, or Wire).

Enter the banking details
Fill in the required information in the panel that appears, then click Save changes.

View Smart Transfer details
Once saved, the payment method will be labeled Smart transfers.
Click View details to see the linked crypto address.

What happens next?
The Smart Transfer details are now linked to that recipient.
You can reuse the same recipient for both traditional bank transfers and Smart Transfers.
No duplicate recipients are created.
