How long do refunds, returns, or rejected transactions take?

The timeframe depends on the type of transaction:

  • Rejected transfers (e.g., wrong details):
    These never reach your OneSafe account and are automatically returned by the sending bank or provider. Refunds typically arrive back in the sender’s bank account within around 10 days.

  • Transfers accepted by our provider but later returned (compliance/risk review):
    Once the provider issues the refund, the transaction will show as “Refunded” on your OneSafe dashboard. Funds usually return to the sender’s bank within about 10 days.

  • Merchant refunds for card purchases:
    Refunds for items returned or canceled card transactions normally take 10–14 days to appear back on your OneSafe card balance.
